In May 2009, Gold Nugget Art Gallery closed its doors due to the economic conditions affecting us all. As we were wrapping up the business we were encouraged by many of of the artists and the public to continue the gallery even without a physical building. Although the building gave the gallery its charm, it was the artists and the quality of their artwork that gave the gallery its first class reputation. We have accepted the challenge and are excited to be able to continue to have a presence in the art world. We have built a new website, have arranged to hang artwork at Rancho de Los Caballeros Guest Ranch (available for purchase) from October to May, and will be hosting several events from November through April. Each event will begin with an artist's reception at Rancho de Los Caballeros Guest Ranch and continue at Susanne & Company, a fabulous ladies boutique.
