LELAND BEAMAN Arizona artist, Leland Beaman, will be featured in a show at Gold Nugget Art Gallery April 2-24. Beaman has been a professional artist for nearly 50 years, receiving formal training in Chicago and New York, then cultivating his artistic skills in the Midwest. He owned and operated an art school, gallery and frame shop for 25 years. Moving to Arizona in the early 1980's, he has reveled in painting his inspirations ever since.
Beaman enjoys painting various subjects including Tuscan scenes, seascapes and floral. Leland's western paintings draw viewers back into the nomadic lifestyle of the hard working cowboy; roundups complete with chuck wagon cooking, dust clouds billowing, and open spaces unending. His works have been commissioned and purchased by many notables, including Hollywood personalities and government officials.
