Housed in a charming five-room, 2500 square foot historic adobe building constructed in 1863 (the year after gold was discovered in Wickenburg), the Gold Nugget Art Gallery offers southwestern fine art as well as nostalgia.   The Gold Nugget Art Gallery was established in 1988 and features the work of over 40 of the Southwest's finest artists in all media including oil, watercolor, pastel, acrylic, bronze, alabaster and wood sculpture; fine art gourds; pottery; and designer jewelry. Especially unique art items include the acrylic paintings on embossed copper by Fritz Rothermel, exquisite furniture by Dave Lookingbill, and turned native wood bowls with turquoise and copper inlay by Don Vance, to mention only a few. The Gold Nugget Art Gallery attributes its nineteen years of success to the quality of the art represented, the helpful and knowledgeable staff, and the "comfortable", non-intimidating atmosphere of the gallery and its surrounding courtyard and covered walkways. This customer-friendly art gallery accepts all major credit cards, checks and, of course, cash, as well as an interest-free time payment plan for most purchases.  Gift certificates are available. Upon request, purchases will be delivered free of charge within a 50-mile radius or the artwork will be professionally packaged and shipped to the customer's destination worldwide.
